I see you with my spiral eye
my right eye is blind
but my left eye sees
through the bright white light
of the Divine |

clear sky gliding high sharp eye far seeing
long knowing high flying I don't see anything others couldn't
see I just have a different vantage point I don't fly higher
than others could but I know I have wings and a willingness to soar
Wild
Horse ©2006
there's a horse inside me skittish and wild delicate
and exotic always running magical and powerful and fleet elusive and
untamed beautiful and rare white mane and tail flying unbridled and free |
A
Gift of Love
©2006
I
dreamed someone gave me four red roses in a clear glass mug of water, but
I turned away from their beauty, obssessively searching for the perfect vase. |
Something
Lacking
©2006
no
chocolate in my life nothing sweet and stimulating no dessert after dinner
no treat in the afternoon nothing smooth and rich and delicious to melt in
my mouth no luscious confection consumed simply for pleasure none of the
delightful decadence that other people have no frivolous food at all |

of the Goddess
©2005
the
sea wears a diaphanous gown of green in sheer gauze of foam delicately revealing
the beauty of her depths. |
Sanctuary
©2005
peace is something found in the belly like a new life growing at the center
of my being
the sea turtle flies
serenely in her element gazing through the green translucence with old,
slow eyes |
Sight
©2005
I see you I see
you with my hands I see you with my heart I see you with my solar plexus
and my belly I see you with my ears and nose
I can see
you with another kind of vision I can see your soul without your face
getting in the way I can see past your body to your true heart I can
see you in a way no one else can see you
Scary, isn't it? |

Great Mother nurtures
all Who open and listen and weep. Be grateful for the pain, For it
makes you weep And opens your heart. Joy and pain and sorrow are
all the same, And all open the Heart. And the Heart is all that's left,
and all that matters, and is all One.
Sacred
Self
A poem by Sue Redding ©2005
I
am the Goddess Incarnate. I am the Sight of the Divine. I am the Voice
of Love and Compassion. I am the Mother of all the Children. I am
the Gift of emotional energy, of tears and laughter, passion and joy.
I am the Gift of creative magic and the Power of Mystery. I am the
Eyes of the World. Back
