Before your session
Please arrive clean and avoid using
strong scents. It's best to avoid eating a large meal or drinking coffee or other
caffeinated beverages. Turn off your cell phone or pager - allow yourself to be
incommunicado for a while.
During your session
Remember
to breathe. The breath helps to relieve muscular and emotional tension. Communicate
- feel free to give feedback about pressure or especially anything that may be
uncomfortable. It's your session to enjoy.
After your session
Allow time in your schedule for some relaxation. Linger with the afterglow of
your massage. It's best to drink plenty of water to help flush any toxins that
may have been stirred up. Epsom salts in a warm bath can help prevent muscle soreness
and is generally good for balancing emotions and other energies.
